I definitely got a day pass to make it easier to get around, and it was more cost-effective than buying individual fares each time I used the bus.
Don’t forget to check the route map and timetable beforehand to know when and where your bus will arrive.
I found it helpful to snap a picture of the map and schedule so I could check it throughout the day no matter where I was.
One thing I love about the bus is being able to take advantage of air conditioning during hot days, so this is definitely a great way to travel if you’ll be in Novi Sad during the summer months of June, July, or August.

Once you have chosen your rental car, it’s time to hit the road. Novi Sad’s streets can seem challenging, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the city.
But fear not – with a good navigation app and a bit of patience, you’ll be cruising around like a pro in no time. Remember that traffic can get hectic during rush hour, so plan your route accordingly.
When parking in Novi Sad, look for designated parking lots or garages and avoid parking in areas where you see “no parking” signs. Believe me, getting towed is not a memory you want to have of your trip!
